Heart of the Valley Animal Shelter
HOV is an open admission shelter which means we accept any dog or cat brought to the shelter regardless of condition or circumstance. In addition to reuniting lost pets with their families and finding new homes for homeless animals, HOV serves as a resource for the community by providing programs and services designed to help bring people and pets together. We offer humane education programming, canine training classes and behavioral consultations, special adoption programs for senior adults and military veterans, low cost micro-chipping, ID tags, pet licensing and a no cost Spay/Neuter Assistance Program (SNAP).
Suffer Out Loud
Suffer Out Loud strives to decrease the stigma around mental health, lower Montana’s suicide rates, and create a supportive community across the state of Montana, where we can come together and Suffer Out Loud.
They provide the community with mental health workshops, mental health resources, and counseling scholarships. They have provided over 162 counseling scholarships to those in need & hosted over 50 mental health workshops.

Thrive provides mentoring, education, and support for children and families so that everyone in our community has the tools they need to be successful. Our proven programs have been developed using evidence-based practices, adapted to meet local community needs, and rigorously evaluated to ensure program efficacy.
Thrive has developed critical community partnerships built on sharing design, implementation, management, evaluation, financial resources, and responsibilities for programs. This approach, which has the success of the child at its center, results in the highest quality services, maximizes scarce resources, and has a powerful impact on outcomes for children

Cottonwood Day School
Cottonwood Day School in Bozeman, MT was founded in 2014 by a Bozeman mom with a background in education and social work. It is the first and only private, non profit elementary school for students with learning challenges in the state of Montana. Cottonwood Day School’s quality and success is at the heart of its excellent teachers, specialists and dedicated administrative and support staff in the classroom. These professionals bring expertise, experience and, above all, a thorough understanding of the challenges facing our students and their families.
Pride House 406
Pride House is a space for young people to gather safely to learn about LGBTQ+ identity, receive guidance, and relax. It is a youth-led, adult-supported space focused on education, resource gathering, safety, and acceptance… a space where young people can interact without fear of being outed or criticized. Safe, reasonable, and communal, Pride House is a home for LGBTQ+ young people to build a network of support.
Providing space for young people to be themselves and access appropriate supplies (food, company, quiet homework space, etc.)
Facilitating allyship through trainings and education
Supporting students in crisis with resources they may struggle to access (healthcare referrals, housing support, food insecurity, etc.)
Guiding community-building among the local LGBTQ+ young people
Cancer Support Community MT
Cancer Support Community Montana is one of over 40 affiliates of CSC and has two thriving chapters located in Bozeman and Missoula where you will find a full range of supportive programs for people with cancer and their loved ones in a comfortable home-like setting. In addition, there are Resource Centers located in small communities across Montana. All programs are offered free of charge. Here you will find support groups, individual counseling, educational workshops, exercise activities, stress management sessions, lectures by experts in the field of oncology, and social gatherings. Services are offered in-person, online and in a hybrid platform – all with laughter, joy, connection and hope.
HRDC
The HRDC works to improve our neighbors’ lives by building a better community in Southwest Montana. Their programs include emergency assistance, housing assistance, energy assistance, food and nutrition, and community care.
La Camionnette Coffee donates any unused products past their sell-by date to the HRDC.
Greater Gallatin United Way
Greater Gallatin United Way is dedicated to advancing the common good by mobilizing the community to improve lives. Through strategic initiatives, collaborative partnerships, and impactful programs, Greater Gallatin United Way addresses critical issues and creates positive, lasting change focused on mental health and well-being, basic needs, early learning, and youth success. Together we can create a community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
